  • Advanced statistical techniques, including:
    • Survival analysis including estimating LC50s and median time-to-death. Estimating dose-response curves (logistic regression) and estimating reproductive success.
    • Multivariate analysis including clustering, ordination techniques, principal component analyses and factor analysis
    • Time series analysis, especially spectral analysis and data filtering
    • Categorical analysis including log-linear models and estimates of relative risk and odds-ratios (including confidence intervals)
    • Maximum-likelihood and Baysian methodologies
    • Non-parametric analyses including bootstrapping and randomization tests
    • Spatial analysis including landscape-level fragmentation statistics
    • Power analysis to determine minimal sample size
  • Expertise with SAS, S-Plus and R statistical languages, and programming custom maximum likelihood analyses in the C programming language. Experience with SPSS statistical analysis software.
  • Database design and programming, including SQL and relational databases
